A customer from Nicaragua required a reliable pump for handling slurry and sediment-containing wastewater. The working medium contained suspended solids, so an ordinary clean-water pump was not suitable for the application.
After reviewing the required flow rate, discharge head and operating conditions, we supplied a 100ZW165-28-30kW submersible slurry pump.

The customer needed a pump that could be installed directly in the collection pit and continuously transfer slurry-containing water to the designated discharge point.
The main requirements included:
- Handling water containing sediment and suspended solids

- Achieving a discharge head of 28 metres
- Reducing blockage during slurry transfer

The 100ZW165-28 submersible slurry pump was selected for its compact structure and strong solids-handling capability.
The pump is driven by a 30 kW motor, providing sufficient power for demanding slurry and wastewater transfer. Its submersible installation eliminates the need for a separate pump house and allows the unit to operate directly inside the pit or sump.
Wear-resistant hydraulic components can also be selected according to the concentration, particle size and abrasiveness of the slurry.
The supplied pump provided the Nicaragua customer with a practical solution for transferring slurry, sediment and industrial wastewater.
