300 Metre High Head Borehole Pump for Europe
2026-09-11
Deep boreholes require more than a high flow rate. When groundwater must be lifted over a significant vertical distance, the pump also needs sufficient pressure to overcome both elevation and pipeline losses.
For a European project, the required operating point was 210 m³/h at 300 m head.
To meet this duty, the customer selected a 400QJH210-300/11 deep well pump with a 300 kW submersible motor.
The most important feature of this unit is its high-head performance. A total head of 300 metres allows the pump to serve deep wells and demanding water-transfer systems where standard borehole pumps may not provide enough pressure.
The pump uses a cast iron pump head combined with stainless steel impellers. The motor housing is also manufactured from stainless steel, providing additional protection for a component that remains continuously submerged during operation.
The pump is installed vertically inside the well and pushes water upward through the rising pipe.
This configuration is suitable for applications such as deep groundwater extraction, reservoir filling, industrial water supply and high-elevation water transfer.
For European projects requiring both substantial capacity and high pressure, the 400QJH series provides a flexible solution that can be configured according to actual well and system conditions.
