Custom Deep Well Pump for a 100 m³/h, 90 m Duty Point

2026-09-18

Latest company case about Custom Deep Well Pump for a 100 m³/h, 90 m Duty Point

Correct deep well pump selection starts with the required operating point rather than simply choosing a pump by well diameter.

For this project, the customer required:

Flow: 100 m³/h
Total Head: 90 m

Based on these hydraulic requirements, a 2205 duplex stainless steel submersible deep well pump was selected.

The pump needed to provide enough capacity for continuous water supply while maintaining sufficient pressure at the discharge point.

In addition to flow and head, material was an important consideration. Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 was selected for its combination of strength and corrosion resistance.

For a complete deep well system, pump selection normally considers:

  • Well diameter
  • Static and dynamic water levels
  • Installation depth
  • Required water volume
  • Total pipeline resistance
  • Water quality
  • Power supply conditions

The final configuration was therefore matched to the customer's actual hydraulic requirements rather than using a standard pump without system verification.

This project is a good example of how a customized deep well pump can provide a more appropriate solution for demanding groundwater applications.
