Product Description
400QJH210-300/11-300kW High-Head Deep Well Submersible Pump
The 400QJH210-300/11-300kW deep well submersible pump is designed for large-volume, high-head groundwater extraction. Its rated duty is 210 m³/h at 300 m head, powered by a 300 kW submersible motor. The hydraulic section uses a cast-iron construction with stainless steel impellers, while the submersible motor is made of stainless steel.
This model is intended for large deep wells and water projects where both high delivery capacity and substantial lifting pressure are required.
Technical Specifications
Parameter Specification
Model 400QJH210-300/11-300kW
Pump type Multistage deep well submersible pump
Rated flow 210 m³/h
Rated head 300 m
Hydraulic stages 11
Motor power 300 kW
Pump section Cast iron
Impellers Stainless steel
Motor construction Stainless steel
Installation Vertical submerged installation
Pumped liquid Clean water or groundwater within specified limits
The "400" designation normally indicates a minimum applicable well diameter of 400 mm. The actual pump outside diameter and required installation clearance must be confirmed from the dimensional drawing.
Understanding the Rated Duty
The pump delivers 210 m³/h at a rated head of 300 m. This is equivalent to approximately 210,000 litres per hour or 3.5 m³ per minute at the rated operating point.
Actual flow is determined by the complete system resistance. The required total head should include:
  • Vertical lift from the dynamic water level
  • Elevation from the wellhead to the discharge point
  • Required pressure at the final outlet
  • Friction losses in pipes, valves and fittings
The 300 m head is not the same as the well depth or pump installation depth.
Material Configuration
The cast-iron pump section provides the mechanical strength required for a large multistage borehole pump. Stainless steel impellers provide improved resistance to rust and hydraulic wear compared with ordinary cast-iron impellers.
The stainless steel motor is suitable for continuous submerged installation under approved water conditions. The exact stainless steel grade must be confirmed before purchase, especially when the groundwater contains chloride, salt or corrosive chemicals.
Suitable Applications
  • Municipal groundwater extraction
  • Industrial clean-water supply
  • Large agricultural irrigation projects
  • Mine and construction-site water supply
  • Reservoir and storage-tank filling
  • Long-distance water transmission
  • High-elevation water delivery
  • Centralized rural water-supply systems
This is not a sewage pump and should not be used for sludge, fibres or water containing large solid particles.
Well and Installation Requirements
The well must have sufficient internal diameter, straightness and sustainable yield. It should continuously provide at least the required operating flow without allowing the dynamic water level to fall below the pump inlet.
Install the pump below the lowest expected dynamic water level and above the bottom sediment zone. Because this is a large 300 kW unit, the pump length, total weight, lifting method and wellhead load capacity must be confirmed before installation.
Electrical Requirements
The operating voltage, frequency, starting method and cable length are not determined by motor power alone. Before ordering, confirm:
  • Site voltage and frequency
  • Direct, soft-start or variable-frequency starting
  • Cable size and total cable length
  • Control-panel rating
  • Transformer and generator capacity
  • Motor overload and phase protection
  • Dry-running and low-water-level protection
Information Required for Selection
Provide the well diameter, well depth, static water level, dynamic water level, well yield, delivery elevation, pipeline length and diameter, required outlet pressure, power supply, water analysis and required cable length.
